I imagine that what may be inferred as "aristocratic worship" to many people may just as validly be little more than an illustration of simple respect (i.e, six of one, half a dozen of the other). I would hazard that part and parcel of that perception depends on the amount of civility and respect we ourselves hold towards others, regardless of station, income or career.
