I like Classic Rock and I sometimes listen to 103.5 The Fox, a Denver and Clear Channel Station. Back in 2002, after the mid-term elections, The morning dj's Lewis & Floorwax were talking about how great the Republicans were and how stupid the Dems were and how it is great in this time of war, it was great that we were solidly behind the Republicans. I was fuming. They later on said that you cannot question the president because he knows things you don't and we are at war. I was sooooo fucking pissed. Later in 2003, they were talking about Fred Durst saying anti-american things and they said, don't bad mouth America. You can be anti war or anti Bush, but don't bad mouth america. It seems like they are softening up a little. This morning, they were saying kids admired Bush third behind parents and teachers. They seemed a little surprised and dismissed it as that kids will admire any president. They expressed surprise since the kids did not know about his politics or politics in general. I may be overanalyzing, it just seemed like small tell-tale signs that they are backing off of the right-wing propaganda.
