You know that my guys have all been rescue and I have a bumper sticker that has pride of place (along with New Yorkers for Kerry-Edwards, Obama '08, Gillibrand for Congress, Support the Troops. Bring Them Home Now., DU, etc.), came with my sweet little Sara, that says Want a Dog? Rescue One. O8)
BTW, I saw Daisy when I stopped at my local market on Thursday. She was alone in the car in her little seat, wearing a pink sweater, and wagged her tail when I tapped on the window. Your wife was either getting groceries, at the bank or the liquor store. She was parked in between... ;)
It's been a rough week. We lost Charlie, the Airedale, Jackie's BFF, on Monday and it's been awful. At least we got to see him again and I did whatever I could, getting his meds, cooking for him, sitting with him, etc. At least we had that... We miss him so much. ;(
