I had worried about you after I saw your post before Thanksgiving. It sounded like you really were not looking forward to it, and that made me feel sad for you. I'm glad to hear it went better than you expected.

We took my Mom to Galesburg to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. Our trip took WAY longer than we expected it to because we had to stop several times due to gastro-intestinal distress. My Mom and I both had the "dire-rears" and neither of us wanted to cancel out on the other. As a result it was about 3 and a half hours from CU Galesburg because we could not pass up a rest stop or gas station.

Trust me on this, we saw the high points along the way...

Kev and I were staying at a motel last night while Material Girl was staying at my brother's. About half an hour after we got to the motel we got a call telling us that Material Girl had developed that same issue. I asked Kev if he thought the trip could get any worse and he just laughed at me.

We came home early this morning rather than heading on down to the Sand family gathering--all the while hoping that we had not infected my brother's household with this stuff. I am toying with the idea of hanging a Quarantine sign on our front door. I made a vat of chicken soup tonight and we are all just kinda being spuds right here at home.

I do NOT suggest dropping by for a visit.
