Here it is, 2004, and what has changed about the cash prizes in current gameshows that originally aired in the 1970s and early 80s?

Nothing!

Where I live, the new Family Feud airs right before the new Pyramid. The cash prizes for both shows are the same amounts they were 30 years ago. Shouldn't the prize amounts be adjused for inflation? If Richard Dawson can pay a family $5.00 for every correct answer on the "Feud" (when you don't win the big prize) in 1976, how come Richard Karn is still giving out $5.00 for every correct answer in 2004? What's going on? Someone call Donny Osmond!
