I thought they were both pretty good, actually!

That final scene of the "Lisa runs away" episode--where Homer, Marge and Bart get "swallowed," "digested" and "evacuated" by that 50-foot museum model of the human anatomy--has to go down as one of the most classic "Simpsons" moments of all time! And Homer disguising himself as a robot to fight on "Robot Rumble" (in the second episode) may have been typical of his antics, but I still thought it was pretty damned funny.

I gotta say, for a show that's run for over 300 episodes, "The Simpsons" still shoots a lot more hits than blanks. IMHO, at least.
