They also reduce "the other side" to vicious, inaccurate stereotypes to purvey hatred and intolerance that sometimes leads to physical attacks against those who are "different." Remember James Byrd? The mentality I've increasingly come to see represented by "South Park" reminds me of the ignorant, small-minded hicks who made my years in the public school such a living hell because they considered me a "faggot" and a "wimp."
