I can tell you that you are completely wrong. They are neither Republicans nor Democrats. They're comedians and that's a different breed of animal. They are not out to make YOUR political agenda, they are working to make people laugh. Period, end of story. If that requires that they make fun of Democrats as well as Republicans, then they will do that, no matter what their political affiliation.

Having said that, I feel the show is well past it's freshness date, due to upper management's stranglehold on final cut. The have a formulaic view of what works and what doesn't and very little that is outside that box is aired. Which is sad, because they have an amazing amount of talent just sitting there, waiting to be mined.
