We actually have a nice kitchen, complete with 2 microwaves, stove, and oven, as well as 2 large refrigerators. I'm watching my cholesterol though, so more days than not, I have a big bowl of oatmeal. The facility has about 200 employees and there is an early shift and late shift that take their meal breaks at times other than the noonish norm, so there's generally not a crowd in the kitchen. But if I'm just dying for a burger or something, there are fast food places within a couple of miles, and we have Chinese food delivered every payday :9

JMHO, you have to consider your time as well as the cost of gas and wear and tear on your car. That much driving, every day, can get really old, really fast. You would work 8 or 9 hours a day, plus another 2 or 3 driving. Before you know it, you have time to sleep, sh!t and shower and then you do it all again. I had an uncle that had a long commute because he and his family wanted to live in the "country". He eventually got a cheap apartment near work that he shared with a co-worker during the week. He pretty much paid for the apartment with what he saved in gas, and that was back when gas was a lot less than it is now.
