Someone brought in a batch of Christmas cookies laced with hashish. Sent several people to the hospital, including one gentleman with a heart condition. They knew who had done it-- as the department's union rep at the time, it was my duty to stay with him during the first phase of the on-site police questioning (until they read him his rights).

As someone who has in the (distant) past eaten hash brownies, I can tell you the "high" is completely different from smoking the stuff. 100% of the THC gets absorbed directly into your system, and it can hit HARD. If you're not expecting it, or if you don't use, it can really be dangerous!
