3. High powered radar?

I seem to recall reading about a UK farmer (think it was in Wales?)
who suddenly started having weird electrical faults. These included
light bulbs burning out on a frequent basis, most mains equipment
failing or blowing fuses and at least two small fires that started
with electrical equipment overloads.

The cause was finally identified as linked to a high-power radar just
brought on-line at a nearby RAF base. Can't remember how (or even if)
it was resolved for them.

On edit: Wonder if there is a fleet exercise in progress in that part
of the Med? What's the local USN carrier doing these days? :-)
