but the following dialog:

Him: What's wrong?
Her: NOTHING.
Him: Are you sure? You're acting like something's wrong.
Her: NO.
Him: Well.....OK, then. If you say so.....


<three days later>

Her: I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T _________________ (fill in the blank)
Him: What the hell are you talking about?
Her: REMEMBER THREE DAYS AGO WHEN YOU _________________?
Him: Aw, jeez. Why didn't you say something then?
Her: YOU SHOULD'VE KNOWN!!


Not that that's ever happened to me, of course.
