When I was in my teens and early 20's, I used to pick apart every litle flaw I had. Now at almost 32 (yikes 32! :scared: ), I realize that while I will never be "perfect", nor will every man in the universe find me attractive, I am a pretty decent looking women.
If you keep taking care of yourself, as you say, it does pay off. I stay out of the sun, get enough nutrients in my diet (even when I was fatter, I ate healthy, just too much junk in addition to it), drink minimally, and don't smoke. I'm starting to notice these days that I'm looking a lot better than some of my female contemporaries.
