At least we don't have the famous baptists' logic:

Logically, hurricanes are caused by:
a) A spiral of warm air rising and cool air falling
b) People holding a Mardi Gras for the 29364th city-time. (And at no other time, no other Mardi Gras)

So there! All Americans think like that!
