| Sprawling Brawl Mars Ending of Knicks' Loss |

 With slightly more than a minute left in the Knicks’ game against the Denver Nuggets last night at Madison Square Garden, a brawl erupted near the Nuggets’ basket, giving the image-conscious N.B.A. another black eye. With just over a minute left in the game and the Knicks trailing by 19, Mardy Collins fouled the Nuggets’ J. R. Smith, sparking a melee. Numerous players, including the Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony, scuffled and threw punches.
