I'm surprised that so many are caught up in the apppearance of sentimentality that they won't take a few hours to view a film that exemplifies the Dem model. Sure, some of its a lttle trite - hell its 50 or 60 or 100 or whatever years old. Comeon, the cops are Burt and Earnie, you know, those furry dudes on Sesame Street? And yes, Donna Reed made me envy George Bailey.
