33. There is, indeed, hope
I found him after looking for 30 years! We ended up getting to know the same friend in Washington, D.C. after years of living in different states and never having the opportunity to meet. The minute we met, we knew we had a connection. Every now and then, I'll say "what took you so long to find me?" It was worth the wait. He's very much a wonderful partner.

Here's the funny thing: the minute I stopped looking and was focusing on my career, he popped up. It's weird how those things happen.
