44. Yeah some original Trek is unwatchable.
Incredibly dated--but there are still a few glorious moments. The final two minutes of "Requiem For Methuselah" spring to mind, for example.

I much prefer Next Generation, but there were many stinkers in its long run. I adored what little I saw of DS9, but quickly lost interest in Voyager.

Loved Enterprise. While its plots were generally nothing special, they at least avoided the most ludicrous excesses of the other series, and the main cast's acting was golden. Wisely, the writers of Enterprise took care to craft good dialogue (lots of small talk, particularly in the first couple of seasons), and with the wonderful performances of that cast, the show always felt like real people in space. This was exactly the right tone for a show whose opening montage deliberately connected our world to Archer's.
