because several family members are VERY GOOD. In fact, it's a Christmas tradition to have a wrapping contest. The contestants pick out the gift that each wrapped the best and submit it for critique. Points are awarded for creativity, best corners, and best pattern matching. Best of all, after several eggnogs the judging can become quite subjective and usually the family comes to a consensus on who won the contest - no hard feelings as they all get ripped to shreds.

We also keep a "box" box and points are also received for the box that has been recycled the most years. We've got childhood favorites, such as the Winnie the Pooh typewriter box, still going strong after ummmm....about 25 yrs and some from department stores that are long, long gone. Ah nostalgia!
