19. As did Amiga- and Linux- folks' self-righteousness. But consider this:
Of course, our favored platforms continue to get whittled away to ZERO while a slop-artist's pigshit continues to be emboldened by sales doesn't make us happier either.

And more and more tech-oriented people are going to stop talking altogether. We know that in a proper reality Windows wouldn't have ever gotten on the market; those controlling it kept away from a sane society. We also know that, as with drug addicts, there comes a time when people are contended with what they have. It gets tiring helping people who don't even want to help themselves. For a better analogy, I may as well hand out free cigarettes to people addicted to Marlboros.

Indeed, with best buy and other big companies offering more and more support services, why bother? Windows users obviously don't mind getting shit service and then whining about it for days afterward (trust me, those places SUCK ELEPHANT ANUS). And if I tried going into the PC support biz, it wouldn't be long before one of the big boys moves in and takes over. That's one of the little downfalls of our system; the big exterminate the small in order to get all the sales and once they become dominant they can be as ludicrous as they want. That's the system, take it or leave it. Nobody wants to actively make change for the better. I give up.

I still sporadically help Windows users; but let's face it: Should Vista sell well I'm through. Period. Let the hackers have a field day. People still buy into the empty hype and don't ask or demand change. Just new features; only some of which ever get fixed...
