28. Not quite.
It doesn't matter if the tops of the keys have crap on them. Well, it does but that's another problem. It is the fuzz and debris that falls into the keyboard that gets stuck under the keys and messes with the mechanical functioning. So, get the fuzz out from under the keys. There may be so much fuzs that it spans the area between the 2 keys so you press both (underneath) when you press 1 ( on top).

Or you can deactivate "caps lock" through control panel/keyboard menu.

My son says press A twice then backspace each time you use an A.

IF you use Windex, unplug the keyboard first.
