3. i heard today that
the estimation promised by Thursday that would give an idea who "won" in the Iraqi elections is being postponed.

Translation: "That guy we want (Allawi) is losing so we need a few days to fix that"

what am I missing here? oh yeah, 43 boxes of votes thrown out because they look "tampered with." -NPR. Driving home from the orthodontist with my teenage son, per ususal ,turned into a little lesson of the day: When this administration says white, you know damn well that it's black, when they say up, then you can bet the farm it's down. Another interesting tidbit I read somewhere recently: "Agressive action will be necessary in order to promote future stability" IOW: "we need to make war now so that we'll have peace later." Fucking orwellian.
