207. Been there
Actually a number of friends have called me the "Flood Queen" because everywhere I lived I've had a flood. Granted, during my student years I lived in some basements but it really doesn't matter where I move.

I got flooded twice in an apartment on top a hill. The first time was after I had asked for better weather stripping on the front door. Two days after I got it installed the water pipe to the upstairs apartment broke and flooded my apartment. The new weather stripping helped ensure that the water didn't leak out of my apartment. I had several inches of water in my apartment which damaged several hundred albums. In the course of "fixing" the pipe the management ended up causing a larger leak. I lost my saltwater fish in several aquariums when the ceiling collapsed.

My friends really became concerned in early 1993 when I moved to a house on a small hill. While I was moving in they kept telling me to move back to ground level or we'd all be doomed. A few months later my house on the hill was flooded during the rains that caused the Mississippi to flood.

I've already had my flood in my current residence. I'm staying put for a while.
