in University City. I've had DSL since 2000 when AOL entered into a deal w/what was then Southwestern Bell. I switched from AOL to Earthlink because I wanted the real Internet not the Internet with training wheels.
Now I am going to sbc/yahoo.
The $19.95 per month deal is for people who bundle other services with SBC. Since I don't use my landline for anything other than DSL I don't need any other phone services.
