Yes, I know they're a godsend, but they're so intrusive. I fantasize about throwing cell phones off the terrace of the Kennedy Center, watching them smash in the plaza below, and then having Max Cleland run over the damned things.

I hate cell phones.

Also, thanks to the couple slobbering all over each other at the Booeymonger's on Saturday, I recalled how much I hate in-your-face PDA. A little hand-holding, a neck rub, and a cuddle are fine, but audible smacking noises while you kiss ought to be kept to a minimum.

Also, I hate it when people use the phrase "different than." It's "different from."
