What's really hilarious is that the original pledge (which is only a little over 100 hundred years old, so less than half the age of this country - it's neither part of our founding nor is it required to say ANYWHERE) was written by a socialist Baptist minister (of course, you and your dittohead Kool-Ade drinking idiot cohorts wouldn't know a real socialist if it bit you on your fat white ass) WITHOUT 'God' in it. That was added per a pressure campaign by the Knights of Columbus in 1954, at the height of McCarthyite hysteria. As for prayer - well, what part of the establishment clause of the 1st amendment do you not understand? Shall we accomodate everyone and throw down a prayer rug toward Mecca? How about some Buddhist meditation? Goddamn, you fucking fascists accuse liberals of "forcing' things down your throat, but who is constantly crying and bitching about how they wish everything went their way?
