point out the fact that you will not tolerate his "attitude" and since he`s refused to be respect both you and her wishes you will not invite him to your party. if she does`t come so be it. never let anyone come between you and your values. i`ve tried to live my 40+ years of adult life with this philosophy although i`ve ruffled some feathers along the way i have nothing to be ashamed for. whenever anyone makes you that uncomfortable then have nothing to do with him or anyone who enables him-even your mother. it`s called "tough love" oh yes--good luck
