Permission to rant, captain?

Damn my car dealer to hell! I brought it in a month ago with a fault, which they arranged to fix two weeks later. It was also due for its MOT test (that's a government roadworthiness inspection, all vehicles must pass it annually) yesterday, so I figured I would arrange that when I brought it in to be fixed.

Anyway, when the date was due two weeks ago they called me to say they had to postpone because they had an engineer off sick, or something. They rescheduled to fix my car last Friday. When last Thursday came around, they called me to postpone again - this time because they don't have the necessary parts.

:wtf:

I guess three weeks since I originally brought it in is insufficient time to get the parts in, right? Anyway, so I am still driving around a broken car and they are supposed to fix it after Christmas. But what about that MOT test? That ran out yesterday! So they said, okay, you can bring it in today, but we have no loan car at such short notice, so you'll have to wait. The inspection will take about fifty minutes. So I went there for 9am this morning and waited. And waited. And waited.

It took them three hours to get my car back to me. Which leaves me with four fucking hours to make up at work!!!

:nuke:
