Virtually the entire "establishment" media ignoring obvious scandals like PROPAGANNON that have very serious implications for the country.

The supposed leadership of the Democratic Party failing to put up effective resistance against horrific appointments like Gonzales and Rice.

Etc.

The whole thing sort of makes me feel like Rosemary in "Rosemary's Baby" where you gradually realize that everyone, including your friends you thought you trusted, your spouse, your doctor, are all part of the coven. Like the whole world is some kind of front we're all sleepwalking through.

On second thought maybe "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is the more apt metaphor.
