Guy here at work wears the same cologne as my first boyfriend.

This is terribly disconcerting for several reasons:

A. That I can tell this to begin with. I'm almost 29. I dated this first boyfriend when I was 14.

B. That I know it's Drakkar Noir from scent alone. Preppy. Oy. (I never cared for it, but at least I'm not allergic to it.)

C. That I'm now associating a decent person at work with a guy who let condoms fall out of his wallet in front of me and then told me, "oops, you weren't supposed to see those until later -- it was going to be a surprise." He broke up with me a couple of weeks later, the condoms remaining unused. (He was clueless, but ultimately harmless.)

Anyone have a scent that dredges up old memories, good or bad?
