Someone's accused moi, the widow, of "left-wing hatred" [View All]

My husband's obit ran today in the local papers. I sent the link to several friends, including some in LA who forwarded it to others. The last line asked for donations to help defeat Bush this fall.

Unfortunately, one of the "others" is a cretin who took the time to take me to task for my "left wing hate" and ask why my husband and I didn't love Reagan (???). This guy is gay, and I hate to stereotype here, and he has every right, as we all do, to choose his political persuasion, but I asked him, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING AS A GAY MAN DEFENDING REAGAN AND BUSH? DO YOU SEE NOTHING FUCKED-UP OR HYPOCRITICAL ABOUT THIS?"

I'm shaking, I'm filled with rage, I want to fly to LA right now and kick his dumb, ignorant ass from Toluca Lake to Agoura Hills (he's a small guy, I think I could do it). The fact that someone would read an obituary and start in on the grieving widow just pissed me off so much, I'm blinded by rage. I know all of you understand. You have supported me more than I could have ever imagined.

My gods, I fucking hate that stupid ass motherfucker. Thank you, I feel so much better now.
