Anyone else think Bremer will be Bush's Iraq scapegoat?

Bush blamed the "Mission Accomplished" banner on sailors.

He's never accepted the blame for anything in his life.

I think his excuse will be "Everything in Iraq would have been fine if Bremer hadn't taken so long to get their democracy going."

But Bush really doesn't want democracy in Iraq. Democracy in Iraq would be Islamic and that would sadden Bush's Christian voters. Democracy in Iraq would mean renegotiated contracts and that would sadden Bush's financiers.

So it's all going according to plan and Bremer gets the blame.
