Last weekend I spent some time with a repuke friend trying to get some of the truth across. Had he ever seen the picture of Rummy shaking Saddam's hand? "No."
Did he know that the chimp continued reading a book to schoolchildren after being told the country was under attack? "No, he wouldn't do that. And if he did he did it for a good reason."
Has he ever heard of PNAC? "No."
How does he feel about being lied to about wmd's? "They'll be found. I love Bush. Aren't you glad he was President on 9-11?"
Does he know that Cheney still collects a million a year from Halliburton? "No."
Does he know about Prescott Bush's Nazi ties? "No. But George HW Bush is my personal political hero."

He heard me out, but I could tell he was about to call the guys in the white coats to come and get me. The monster's on the wing, all right, but the American people aren't looking out the window.
