Reply #19: I'd rather see Cheney in charge. [View All]

I've thought about this awhile, since we often lust after the idea of Chimpeachment but not-so-often consider what a Cheney presidency would mean. Here's what I'd like about it:

1) We'd be dealing with the organ grinder rather than the monkey, so to speak. No need to try to sort out the baffling Bushisms; if Cheney has any redeeming qualities, it's that he's capable of cutting to the shit without trying to candy-coat things. (I think it makes him physically ill to candy-coat things.)

2) Who wouldn't like for Cheney to be the face of Republican leadership? Be still my beating heart!
