In fact, I tried to not sound like a leftist, in the vain attempt to increase my slim chances of getting on the air. She kept asking if I was a "New Yorker" as well - so I countered that I was going to visit my family in South Carolina :) I purposefully avoided any language that was political, kept strictly to "incompetence" etc., and put in a plug for good union airlines like United and Continental - incidently, I have NOT ONCE had any problem with a pro-union airline, and in the last 5 years, I've flown countless times.
