1. Keep track of all of your spending and cut back to the bare bones. If your personal spending cuts don't hurt, then you haven't cut enough.

2. Kill off all of your debt now.

3. Drive a fuel efficient car and take public transportation as much as possible.

4. DO NOT OVER-SPEND ON CHRISTMAS!!!

5. DO NOT CHARGE ANYTHING UNLESS IT'S A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION

6. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, AND DID I MENTION SAVE?

7. Be prepared for long stretches of unemployment. Have about a year's worth of expenses saved up just in case, and don't get depressed about being unemployed, millions of Americans will experience unemployment in the years to come.

8. Think about taking in a border to help with expenses, preferrably a female border just to be safe.

9. Get involved politically in your neighborhood.
