32. Stossel interviewed Galbraith for a show
Anyway, Stossel cut his 2 hr interview down to a soundbyte that he used to prop up his opinion. Of course, the soundbyte was taken entirely out of context (it basically cut Galbraith's opinion on the impact of the continentalization of the New Deal down to "Europe could learn something from America", which Stossel used to "prove" his point that America's "economic freedom" was the reason for our prosperity, which wasn't the point of JKG's statement at all) and Galbraith called him on it.
