29. A thoughtful rebuttal to your well thought out post
Anti Christian....This is quite a charge and, if it is as prevalent as you say, an example could easily be cited. There are members of all faiths here as well as members of no faith. We deal with American politics, however, and there is a long TRADITION of seperation of Church and State. Whether someone is a Christian or Zoroastrian should have no impact on the value of their ideas to anyone that is a citizen of the nation conceived by non Christians like Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. But then you knew that because you studt religeon and politics so much.

Anti-Tradition...The Democratic Party is the oldest political pary in the world..WE ARE THE TRADITION. Neo Conservatives are the anti traditionalists since they seek to abolish American traditions like Social Security, gun control, limits on corporate crime and fair election of Presidents.

Anti-Conservative...No shit, Sherlock.

"A liberals demented view of the world..." Define "Liberal" and then attempt to explain why you think it dangerous to be one.

Historically conservatives have always been on the wrong side of the issues.

SLAVERY Liberal position? Abolition (very anti traditionalist)
Conservative position? Status Quo (owning humans)

WOMAN'S SUFFERAGE Liberal position? Allow women to vote
Conservative position? Missionary (okay, a little joke) Conservative position was the Status quo.

SOCIAL SECURITY Liberal Position? People should be able to eat
Conservative Position? People should be able to eat dog food.

So go back to your Laffer Curve loving, Anti Rational thought, Freedom hating, Gay bashing, Confederate flag waving NASCAR rally and try not to shoot yourself when your drunk.

P.S. See how I used that Zoroaster reference? Ya See, St Augustine was a Zoroastrian before he was a Christian and brought most of the philosophy with him when he was rewriting Christianity. This guy would get that reference since he is so into Christianity that he has probably studied as much history as he can on the subject. So it was a real zinger to someone as informed as he is.
