44. No conversion stories to tell but reading all these posts confirms
what is becoming more and more clear. Bush manages to piss off one group after another and each time he loses a bit of support. It's evident in the polls but the mainstream hasn't yet realized just how much his support has really eroded.

The Ben Chandler vote was huge in this respect and the mainstream meadia were so focused on Wisconsin they completely ignored it but it wwas huge because it was the first real test of Bush's popularity and he failed dismally.

I think a lot of Republicans (at least not the rabid, blind, faithful) are put off as much or more by his incompetence and his refusal to ever take responsibility than by his actual policies.
