2. There was a hilarious article a month or so ago...
Laura is having lunch with fawning gop women... who express their jealously (envy?) at having a husband who writes "poetry" (when did a "roses are red" item become "poetry" to people who are past the seventh grade?)... at which Laura felt compelled to share that W hadn't written it... her saying that had been "a joke."

Which part of the story is most pathetic?
-That women were envious when they thought W wrote Laura a demeaning Roses are Red verse?
-That these women considered Roses are Red verse to be poetry?
-That Laura had to "admit" the story was fabricated as a joke?
-That Laura fabricated the story in the first place?
