Gibson's brand of Traditionalist Catholicism is WHACKED. My mother was a longtime member. Those of you who read David Brock's book may recall that his father, too was a member. These people even think the Pope is a liberal tool.

My mother found it in the early 70s through a group she joined in Ohio and a magazine called TFP, Tradition, Family and Property movement.

I posted here some time last year that this group had its origins in the same anti-communist movement in Central and South America that funded the evangelicals during that same time period. It is ALL about using people's faith to support political objectives. A BFEE staple in every part of the world.

It is also known that just as Rev. Moon funded Tim LaHaye (Left Behind) he was also involved in the funding of the anti-communist movements of the late 60s and early 70s.

I am a bit infirmed at this time and not posting much, but, please be aware of this connection, research what you can and share the information, as Gibson's Passion will become very much a part of the politics of division for the next 6 months, at least.
