Whether or not he did anything illegal, the real point is that he repeatedly lied about it publicly (as recently as last week's MTP).

In 2000 he said all the records were released. Last week, he said the same thing. All lies. He and his handlers have had tons of records and he said they released everything they had.

This has to be turned into a credibility issue based on his public statements asap -- ie: this shows a pattern of GW looking right into the eyes of the American people and lying to them about things both small and large.

I'm sure we can find shrub soundbytes of him calling Al Gore a liar in 2000. His own soundbytes about lying should be used in this year's political ads..
