1. Good list.

Lots of stuff in play. Putin's flexing his own neo-imperial muscles, moving pieces in Central Asia with Iran and improved relations with Saudi Arabia. Pakistan's not exactly the most stable nuclear power. Is Venezuela ripe for another coup? How much will Peak Oil be felt this summer - how high will prices go?

And when things appear to be spiralling out of control for the Bush bastards, they're even more dangerous.

And it's only mid-February. Many miles to go before November. Incumbency, even a normal incumbency, carries a lot of advantages. And this ain't no normal incumbency.
