We have learned that the U.S. government attempted to turn a man they believe was an al Qaeda agent into a U.S. informant. However, the plan was blown when news of Mohammed Warsame's arrest was leaked to the local press. Recently unsealed court documents claim that Warsame attended al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan in 2001, including one personally run by Osama bin Laden.
