heh.

sent the story yesterday of Bush's "okaying" the outsourcing of jobs overseas. Where dad retired in NC, they have been hit very hard with the loss of textile jobs.

anyway, the following is Dadcom's response to the story. looks like he found his humor after leaving the dark side. enjoy!

"I think Bush's trade philosophy is right on. This fully-justifiable outsourcing of talent and skills will eventually result in substantial erosion of our national capability to be self-sustaining in the production of heavy machinery (including steel), electronics, medicine (and productive medical research), optics, and modern weaponry. Our long-term benefit will obviously be that we will become so efete, non-threatening, and dependent on the more "can do" countries, that the U.S. will cease being a target for attack, exploitation, and subjugation. We simply won't have anything that anyone else wants, or doesn't already have in greater abundance. In the best of worlds we will be pitied and will be plied with sympathy and aid from our "old Europe" benefactors such as France and Germany. It's obviously a "win-win" situation for the good ole USA! "
