What do Foreign Nationals Think About the AWOL Story? (+ Microsoft!)

I can just imagine a conversation between a Frenchman and a German:

"Holy cow, are those Americans stupid or WHAT? They're beginning to question George W. Bush's military service - three years after they elected him President and long after he was elected Governor of Texas! If it was really important, why wasn't it a story ten years ago?"

I'm not suggesting that people shouldn't harp about BushWOL. On the contrary, I think the public needs to hear words like DESERTER, TRAITOR and WAR CRIMINAL much more frequently. I just find America's lapse humorous - and kind of scary at the same time.

By the way, I REALLY HATE Microsoft! And don't even think of defending Microsoft on this thread unless you're prepared to state that you would trust Microsoft to oversee the voting in Campaign 2004.

That isn't a smartass comment; it's simple logic, just as the idea that Democrats should have made Bush's AWOL status a much bigger issue during Campaign 2000 is simple logic.

George W. Bush was AWOL, and Microsoft has similarly been AWOL from its societal obligations. Get it? Thank you. :)
