17. NGB22
NGB Form 22:Report of Seperation and Record of Service is issued to a reservist when discharged from the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard. The format is the same regardless of which component of the National Guard the reservist served under.

The NGB22 is similar to the DD-214. So Bush should still have a copy of his DD-214 when he was released from active duty, because training
falls under active duty.

What is needed to show where he was or wasn't is a copy of his MPRJ 201. His 201 file will show where he served, and even National Guard
personnel have 201 files.

Also if you look at his NGB22, there is no history of any awards or decorations, not even a National Defense Service Medal, which was awarded to all persons for HONORABLE ACTIVE SERVICE. The period for
Vietnam was January 1, 1961 to August 14, 1974, this was within the time that Bush was serving. So why did he not receive his NDSM?

So while he may have been given an honorable discharge certificate, perhaps his active service for training wasn't so honorable.

So what is needed is a copy of his 201 file, that and that alone will
settle the final question.
