56. Well,
My mom is 76 and is supportive of gay marriage. Not all seniors or middle age people see gay marriage in a negative way. I have several very dear friends who are older than me (49) who feel the same way.

There is some truth to what you say but I don't think it is as generational as you might believe.

It's a wedge issue, you're right about that. But I think it's more a class issue than a generational one.
