I am, too, in many ways.

I support families, balanced budgets, not invading other countries, and having the government stay out of our private business. Last time I looked, that was conservative.

The thing is, the people we have in office now aren't conservative. They talk about supporting the family while promoting policies that make it tougher for families to get by. They talk about balancing the budget while cutting taxes on the wealthy and spending like drunken sailors. They talk about peace and security while invading other countries and providing terrorists with new reasons to terrorize. They talk about freedom while taking away our liberties. These aren't conservatives, these are fascists.
