10. We are their legacy. They would be proud. The dream will never die.
Look around you. There are 40,000 of us on this site alone. We are strong. We are growing stronger.

The outrage over this administration--the shame we feel over its desecration of the America that these great men taught us we should aspire to--has at last lit a fire under our collective asses and brought us together. At last, perhaps, we are on the verge of rebuilding an unstoppable coalition of progressives in this country that will put an end to the right wing zeitgeist that killed these dreamers once and for all.

JFK, MLK, RFK would be proud of the spirit they have inspired in Americans--in people throughout the world even--two generations after their murders. Their lives were not in vain.

We who are inspired by them have a special responsibility. We are proud to accept it. As JFK would say:

I do not shrink from that responsibility.
I welcome it.
I do not believe that any of us would exchange places
with any other people
in any other generation.
The energy; the faith; and the devotion
that we bring to this endeavor
will light our country
and all who serve it.
And the glow from that fire
can truly light the world.

God Bless you Jack, Bobby and Martin (and Abe). And thank you.
